What’s the location like?
The hotel is nestled in Munich’s Altstadt-Lehel district, just a 10-minute walk from Marienplatz and Sendlinger Tor . Its central location makes it ideal for exploring the city’s historic sites, shopping areas and buzzing nightlife, all within easy reach.
How would you describe the style and character?
It features a clean and straightforward design, with classic furnishings and a welcoming atmosphere. While not luxurious, its simplicity and comfort are undeniable and there’s enough charm to make you feel you’re not staying somewhere soulless.
What services and facilities are on offer?
There’s reliable free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, making it easy for guests to stay connected. For those arriving in their own transport, there’s also private on-site parking. A friendly, multilingual reception team is on hand to help with tips or travel arrangements.
What about the guest rooms?
Rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and en-suite bathrooms with showers. The décor could do with a little sprucing, but it’s certainly not run-down. Some rooms feature kitchenettes with amenities like a microwave, refrigerator and stovetop, so you don’t always need to eat out.
How’s the food and drink?
While the hotel doesn’t offer breakfast or dining facilities on-site, guests can find dozens of cafés and restaurants virtually on its doorstep. The staff are also happy to recommend local spots for those who don’t like to gamble.
Is it value for money?
For a budget-friendly base smack in the heart of Munich, the hotel certainly punches above its weight. It’s no palace, but its location and overall comfort make it a savvy pick for travellers who don’t want to break the bank.
