Bristol Christmas Bazaar

On the day itself, you’ll certainly need presents for your family, but there are also Christmas parties and office Chris Kindles, which will likely require you to purchase small, striking and inexpensive gifts.

Fortunately, for those who can get down to The Island in the heart of Bristol, the Bristol Bazaar will be returning in 2016. Building on last year’s success, the Bazaar will be open from the first day of December up until Christmas Eve.

The pop-up shop will be filled with items handcrafted by quirky artisans and innovative designers and, according to the organisers, is designed as an antidote to “the traditional idea of markets into something enchanted and extraordinary”.

For this year’s edition, the contributors include trinkets from The Mute Collective, Crafted Chronicles and Puckoo Couture amongst over 40 other Bristol based makers.

And for those seeking a bit more fun, the bazaar will also hold parties, on 6 and 13 December, where there will be music, refreshments and the chance to meet some of the designers.

The Bristol Christmas Bazaar will take place at Bristol’s old Police Station from 1 – 24 December. Opening hours: Mon-Fri 10am-8pm; Sun 11am-4pm.
