History and hedonism, culture and cuisine, sun and sea – Malaga has it all. And among its enticing offerings are several themed tours that won’t blow the budget.
The bustling port city in southern Spain’s Andalusia region draws huge numbers of visitors each year, many of whom use it as a jumping off point for exploring the region. But Malaga also has tons going for it in its own right, much of which can be discovered on a guided tour. We’ve picked out three of the best Malaga tours currently on offer, each cheap enough to leave your budget unscathed.
Shared Dolphin-Watching Tour

The waters off Benalmadena are among the best places in Europe for dolphin watching, thanks to the marine richness of the Alboran Sea. On this 2-hour tour, you’ll depart from Puerto Marina aboard a mini yacht with space for up to 12 fellow guests, accompanied by an experienced captain who knows the Costa del Sol waters inside out. Sailing along the coast of Benalmadena, Torremolinos and Fuengirola, the boat heads for areas where dolphins often gather to feed, with striped and bottlenose dolphins commonly seen between May and October. When sightings occur, the captain slows down so passengers can watch these intelligent marine mammals in their natural habitat without disturbing them. Two soft drinks per person are included. From €40 per person.

Malaga has a vibrant nightlife scene and visitors can experience for themselves on this fun-packed crawl that takes in some of the city’s best nightspots. Running since 2013, the guided tour starts during the day, rolling effortlessly into night time when Malaga’s watering holes burst into life. In Spain, revellers party till late, so events don’t really get started until pushing midnight. During the crawl, you’ll gain VIP entry to four venues in total – including two nightclubs with skip the line access. Five drinks (1 beer/sangria and 4 shots) are also included in the price. From €15 per person.
